I have a super amazing decoupage artwork for you….so let’s begin. This is a super simple way of making beautiful decoupage art .
First, we need to select a plain plastic pot.
The first step is to apply white gesso on the pot. Here, I applied two layers of white gesso to get the desired look. Gesso prepares the base for any other medium. Here, we are using decoupage napkins and for that, gesso provides a proper grip for the napkins to stick.
Fussy cut selected designs from decoupage napkins.
Apply Little Birdie Deco Magic glue on the base and then stick the napkin. Secure it with varnish. varnish protects the artwork from water.
Air-dry or use a heat gun to dry it instantly to save time.
After drying, add some very running shade of dark blue. Make sure to use very little paint and a lot of water so that the shade looks nice.
To finish my project, I applied few small drops of teal blue chalk paint to give it an interesting effect. Secure the artwork with some varnish.
Finally, the art is ready.
