Step 1 : Take a paper mache shadow box and cut a corrugated sheet according to your design.
Step 2: Make an outline placing the pieces of corrugated sheets on the shadowbox.
Step 3: apply Little Birdie mixed media paste using Little Birdie stencil design resembling a brick wall.
Step 4: Next, stick the pieces of the corrugated sheet with Little Birdie heavy gel medium.
Step 5: Draw a butterfly on a paper and make a relief of butterfly with Little Birdie ‘Shape It’ epoxy clay.
Step 6: Thereafter, place the butterfly in the shadow box using heavy gel medium and then apply Little Birdie Fibre paste and stone texture paste – Graphite Dust .
Step 7: In the next step, apply Little Birdie Grainy texture paste on the border of the shadow box.
Step 8: Apply a coat of Little Birdie black gesso on the entire project.
Step 9: Then using a sponge to apply chalk paint – Terracotta on the bricks and Snow white and Blue Spa on the rest of the border of the shadow box.
Step 10: Apply chalk paint – Terracotta on the on textured portion around the butterfly and highlight it with chalk paint Kiwi Mojito.
Step 11: Paint the butterfly with chalk paint Sailing Sky, Indigo Rush and tinted metallic paint – Golden Glaze and finally use Little Birdie heat embossing paste – Avocado Smoothie on the part where stone texture paste is applied to represent moss.
Step 12. Your mixed media project is ready!
