DIY Decoupage Pen Stand

Hello crafters, Neha here and today’s blog is about an ethnic themed pen stand.

For this project I have used a white washed pen stand and Decoupage Filament Paper – Bloom Garden.

I started by cutting the decoupage paper according to the size of the pen stand.

After that, I pasted the paper over the sides of the base using Deco Magic glue. After drying, I applied another layer of Deco Magic glue over the paper in order to seal it further and left it to dry.

After that I painted the inside and the rim of the pen stand with Little Birdie Chalk paint – Sangria and then let it dry.

Next, I applied a layer of Little Birdie Decor Varnish – Glossy all over and then I left it to dry for 10-15 minutes.

Lastly I pasted metal corners on all the four corners using Silicon Glue to make the project even more interesting.

And done!
