Hello Friends ,I am Sharada Dilip here , I have a Mixed media layout Pictorial to share today I started with a A4 sized 2mm Chipboard cut it to 8×8 size which I prefer for wall arts I have torn the 12×12 pattern papers randomly and all excited to see how they fall in place Now I have adhered them to the chipboard using decoupage glue and again given a top coat of glue and let it sun dry .Then I have used the stencil along with modelling paste to create the textures I have given it Read more…

This pictorial is perfect for beginners wanting to try mixed media.The first step is to prepare the surface. Gesso the front, back & spine of the book. TIP – I always prefer dabbing the gesso onto the surface rather than using a brush, this way you not only avoid brush marks but dabbing with a sponge, adds some texture too!
