Hi crafty people,
Lekha here and I am back with a ‘Home Decor’ creation for you, which is the theme for this month’s Blog Challenge. I would be up cycling an almost 20 year old instrument box . It’s one of my favorite boxes for stocking all my quilling supplies, stamps, and ink while I travel or have to take them for small workshops. A friend recently suggested to beautify this boring black box and here I am with my version.
Nothing else could have been more gorgeous than Itsy Bitsy’s Primrose decoupage papers. Coming from the Latin word, primus means first. This is why the primrose also symbolizes youth, and thus I thought of using these lovely decoupage papers to give this old box a youthful makeover.
Once the gel medium dries, use the Little Birdie Decor Varnish to seal the art work on the box.
Hope you liked it and would try something similar to give a makeover to any boring old box or something else that desperately needs a colourful look.
Till we meet the next time……………keep crafting!!
