Spring in Bloom Scrapbook Layout

Hello folks……

Hema here today, back with another work of mine for the month! This time I would like to share with you all a Scrapbook Layout for the Spring Mood  and hope you guys are happy sharing your work with us for the challenge.

I have used a pattern paper of my choice as the base of my work on this project. I really like a wooden background.  I applied clear gesso first and then added modelling paste run through a stencil which had wood grain pattern. Once heat-set, I added some shades of colour splash. The areas where I wanted darker shade, I added some more color and where not required, I removed the excess with a wet tissue.

I have chosen a focal picture which coordinated with the flowers and the textured pattern paper so that it synchronizes well. Now I layered all the elements needed.  I have used few die cut flowers which were layered among the Little Birdie- Vintage flower set.

I have also colored few skeleton leaves and adhered them as well. I have done some stamping randomly across the layout.  I also placed few arts tones around the layout. So, when there is a floral theme……….does it go without flutters around? Never!! So, I fussy cut few butterflies, and placed them appropriately in the layout.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little share of mine. We would love to see your take on this month’s theme and do share your work along with us before the month ends.

Cant wait to see what you guys will come up.

Happy Crafting!

Create….Share…..Have fun!!

Craftily love and hugs

Hema
