New Year Memory Album

Mansa Priya with the first post of the Year.

A sweet ending and a new beginning brings a lot of mixed emotions. Lots of memories to take forward from 2019… Suddenly all of us get charged with new energy, ambitions, and to-do lists for the coming year filled with hopes and dreams.

I am sure 2020 is all about good vibes, bigger goals, more happiness, less pain, and being stronger and more focused than ever.

Happy New Dreams

Happy New Days

Happy New Desires

Happy New Ways

Happy New Year

Happy New You ☺

Today, I am on the Itsy Bitsy Blog with an up-cycled Memory Album. I used the newly launched Little Birdie chalk paint shades.

So, to get started, I used an old canvas album cover. Dry brushed them in the beautiful colors Mango Crush and Sangria randomly to give it a distressed look.

Now, using the script stencil, I added Embossing Texture Paste in the colour Frosted Jello onto the base to form a background.

The Embossing Texture Paste when heated gets bubbly and forms a beautiful and a very rustic texture.

Now, I added a little bit of gold wax over the edges to highlight the embossed texture.

In order to tame down the color, I added a little bit of gesso around the center.

Once everything was dry… Arranged the chippies, flowers etc. in a desirable fashion and stuck them using Little Birdie heavy gel medium. It sticks pretty hard .

Later added few feathers, art stones, glitter and splashes to add some more interest.

I hope you like this quick beautification of an old album in simple steps. Do give it a try.

Let’s welcome the New Year with a bang!

Wish you all a happy and fabulous New Year ☺

Signing off! See you guys soon!
