Mixed Media Tag

Namaste Friends!!

Kriti this side…..hope you all are doing great……

Today I made a mixed media tag….using lots of mixed media products from Itsy Bitsy.

This is my project….I hope you all get inspired to make one for yourself!

I have written a detailed tutorial for this tag….

Step 1: – Take a piece of cardboard or a tag and cover it with white gesso.(I took a scrap piece from a backing cover).

Step 2:-  Now take Little Birdie’s Stone texture paste -Chocolate Fudge and apply through a brick stencil.
Step 3:- Next, attach some chipboard pieces like I have used Gear and Flourish chipboard.
Step 4 :- When its completely dry, cover it entirely with Little Birdie’s Chalk Paint – Indigo Rush.
Step 5 :- After that, apply Little Birdie’s Metallic Wax – Patina Glaze.
After finalizing the composition, I pasted few elements from the Little Birdie’s element sheet – Floral Spectacle, adhered some gorgeous handmade flowers from the store. I have used some sequins, pearls, metallic seed beads, craft pellets, coconut fibre to add some extra interest to the project.
Lastly, I took a little bit of white chalk paint on a sponge and highlighted the borders.
And voila…..its ready….
Few detailed pictures are also attached…
