Hello creatives, Roopashree here!

Today, I am here with an inspiration post using fabulous Little Birdie mixed media supplies to keep you motivated to join the ongoing Mixed Media Challenge, do participate…
Mixed media is such a versatile art form wherein various mediums are used to make a master piece.
I have used many supplies for this project & will be explaining the usage as & when I elaborate the procedure of the project.
Step 1:
Starting the layout on a tag shape MDF base by adhering Little Birdie filament paper with decoupage Deco Magic glue. Let it dry; sand the excess paper for smooth edge.
Step 2:
Apply a coat of clear gesso which acts as a primer & gives the clear see-through of background.
Next, mix Little Birdie chalk paint Choco Cookie & black gesso to get a darker tone. Apply on the edges to give a distress effect.
Step 3:
Give some scripted background, using a stencil & 2 in 1 mixed media paste.
Step 4:
Apply black gesso to chipboard embellishments, compose the embellishments to form a focal point & adhere using heavy gel medium. Using the index finger apply metallic wax on to the gessoed embellishments.
Step 5:
To give a little textured effect, take embossing paste apply randomly with brush & blow hot air using a heating tool & see the magic. It gives a beautiful embossed bubbled effects.
Step 6:
Finally add micro beads to make to sparkle & add cord thread to the tag hole.
