Mini Album With Storage Box

Hello everyone!

I am back with another amazing project to share with you all . Its a cute 6 * 6 inches mini album with a storage box. I have created this album with limited supplies.

Lets get to the step by step tutorial :

To create this album, I have taken 2 sheets of 12 * 18 inches white cardstock and converted them into 3 sheets of 6*18 inches size.

Now, we have to score and fold each cardstock as mentioned below with the help of a paper trimmer. I got mine from Itsy Bitsy.

For the outer base sheet, mark at 2 3/8, 8 3/8, 9 5/8, 15 5/8, 17 3 /8 inches.

For the second sheet, score at 2 5/8, 8 5/8, 9 3/8, 15 3/8, 17 5/8 inches.

And, for the third (inner) sheet, score at 2 7/8, 8 7/8 , 9 1/8, 15 1/8, 17 7/8 inches.

Now, lets stick the fold with tacky tapes to place the sheets one above the other.

We can fold and stick the extra flaps as per our creativity to create pockets and folds.

Th album base is ready. Now, lets decorate it with paper from the Little Birdie ‘Birds and Berries’ paper pack available at Itsy Bitsy store.

To create the lid and the box, take two pattern papers from the pack.

For the box, we require 9 1/2* 9 1/2 inches and score 1 1/2 ” on all four sides.

For lid, we require 9 1/8 * 9 1/8 inches and score 1 1/4 ” on all four sides.

Here it is! Box is ready to store the album.

These are the inside pages of the album. There is a lot of space for photos and message tags.

And, here it is! The complete look of the album. I have used fussy cut elements from the same paper pack to decorate the front cover of the album and the box. To add more beauty, I have included an organza ribbon along the spine. Also, filled the album with the journaling tags that come with the paper pack.
