Hello everyone, Charu here!
First of all, many thanks for all the love you have shown!! I was thrilled with the appreciation I got for my first project with Instant Image Transfer gel. Hope you like this project too!
As Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, here I am to share a cute romantic mixed media project with you all.
It’s a great project to have in the backdrop of a romantic candle lit dinner for two. {wink wink}
In the first step I stenciled my 8 by 8 inches canvas and sprayed it with Berry Blast Alcohol Splash .
Next, I used the beautiful Little Birdie Watercolor Floral Ballet paper with some chip boards and a lace from my stash to create some layers on the canvas.
Thereafter, I tore some papers and layered onto each other. I also tore the papers and stuck it in strips.
I adjusted the chipboard around it…..
In this step, I am placed the center image for this canvas and I added some beautiful shimmery Little Birdie flowers with other embellishments around it.
I also used the scripture stencil here…..
Using the heavy gel medium, I stuck some other embellishments from my stash around the center piece of this canvas.
At this stage I realized, I wanted to give it one more layer of stenciled effect at the right corner of the canvas.
As a finishing touch I added some coconut twines and Little Birdie felt words and I also cut some paper hearts to add more layers to the canvas. I painted the LUV alphabets in blue.
And this is my finished project….
I really hope you’ve enjoyed the creative process for this project and some of the techniques I’ve used . Will continue to inspire you with creative projects so that you can use these gorgeous products from Itsy Bitsy !
Thank you so much for stopping by today…
Happy Crafting!
Love Charu
