So let’s start the project tutorial…

Step 1 :

I took a MDF base 12″X12″.

Step 2:

Next, drew an abstract designs on chipboard & cut them into pieces as shown in the image below.

Step 3:

Then I stuck the chipboard one above the other forming a step like structure.

image for reference.

Step 4:

Now stuck the assembled chipboard on to the base forming an abstract design. Added some pearls of different sizes to add some interest to the panel.

Step 4:

Applied a coat of gesso & add Grainy Texture Paste randomly on the leftover space. It gives a nice texture to the background.

Step 5:

Carefully filled the Stone Texture Paste on the design chipboard using a palette knife. Here I have used 2 different colors of Stone Texture Paste – Graphite Dust & Crystal Sand.

Step 6:

Colored the background with red chalk paint and allowed it to dry completely. Sprayed Charcoal Color Splash randomly &  sprayed water on it & let it flow through. Sprayed Gold Alcohol Spray to add shine to the background.

Step 7:

Next, I rubbed  Metallic wax on the pearls. This highlights the texture & gives a beautiful look to the project.

Here are some clicks of the completed project.
