Fluid Art Coasters With A Twist

Hello everyone, Nivisha here with you today.

I am super excited to share this creation of mine with you all. It is absolutely stunning and has a very pretty aesthetic.

The most surprising thing about these coasters is that they do not have acrylic pouring paints. Fluid art without pouring paint? Yes you heard me right. I did not use pouring paint. Instead I tried working on these coasters with different variations of paint.

I used CHALK PAINT!!

so let’s begin!!

Materials Required:

1.Paper cups

2.Ice cream sticks

3. Pouring medium

4.Chalk paint

5.Metallic paint

6.4 MDF Coasters

STEP 1

Place the coasters on paper cups to avoid the spoiling of paints underneath.

STEP 2

Pour the paint and the pouring medium in the cup. This time there is a twist in the ratio. Since the consistency of the paint is thick you need to put the pouring medium and paint in the ratio 2:1 . This means that you have to add more of the pouring medium. There should be no bubbles.

Create 2 cups for red and golden respectively

STEP 3

Create the final cup by adding alternate layers of both the paints together.

STEP 4

This is the most exciting and satisfying part.

Start pouring the paint on the coaster.

Pour it by rotating the cup in circular motions.

STEP 5

Spread the paint in all the directions equally.

These are the FINAL RESULTS!!
