Cards With Stamped Images

Hello to all!

Vinita with you here today to share my inspiration cards on this month ongoing Blog Challenge theme. Make anything with supplies in a tic-tac-toe arrangement as seen in the image. Horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, as you like.

Have you seen the fabulous newly released stamp sets and dies by Itsy Bitsy’s home brand Little Birdie? They are all amazing. Many stamp sets included several small stamps that we often overlook. So, today my cards are mostly designed to show uses of these small stamps. The impressions made with these small stamps make fun backgrounds.

Floral wreath card along with love birds

For my first card, I went with stamps, dies, stencil, handmade flowers and chipboard theme.

I die cut a blooming wreath out of grey cardstock, two white birds and some branches of a tree from the ‘Flowering tree’ die set. I sponged them using distress inks as shown in the pic.

Using Rolling stones stencil, I inked it the wreath centre circle with iced spruce distress ink. Now on my grey card base, I added a white panel and then adhered a panel from Amor Mio Paper pack.

Now, at the centre, I adhered my die cut wreath along with pretty birds and stencilled centre.

Embellished it with handmade flowers, garden chippie and stamped some hearts from ‘Handmade with Love’ stamp set along with a sentiment tag.

Unicorn Card

I wanted to showcase small floral images from ‘Shine bright’ stamp set as my focal point.

I made a spring floral crown by stamping some flower images on a piece of white cardstock using a clear embossing pad. I heat embossed it with Silver Sparkle EP. Then fussy cut it.

I hand drew a unicorn head image only with a pencil and then using an embossing pen, I heat embossed it with Silver Sparkle embossing paste. Then drew some eyelashes using a black sketch pen.

Finally, adhered the spring crown to my pretty little unicorn that suits her perfectly, doesn’t it? Stamped the sentiment using black archival ink and some hearts too and colored it with a black pen.

Then I added some sprinkle stars as bling above the unicorn image to fill the white space. Now added some handmade flowers as embellishments.

Elephant card with background stamping

I loved this cute little elephant from handmade with love stamp set.

The shaded circle frame is a great way along with a blooming wreath die to highlight this cute elephant image. I stamped one of the floral banners, colored it and fussy cut it. I love How the floral banner is draped along the bottom of the circle.

And I created own floral background in light grey ink and embellished it with handmade flowers. Perfect for baby cards!

Floral Hearts

This is a great stamp and perfect for Valentine’s Days.

I stamped the floral hearts masking a hand-cut heart in the centre along with more floral hearts to make my own background. I colored my images with polychromos pencils just two shades of colors- blues and greens.

I Fussy cut the masked heart from inside and keep the focal panel simple, adhered it on my base panel along with a red distressed edged panel in the centre for more interest.

Added a hand-cut heart, colored it red and added shine to it. Embellished it with some green sequins. Added a sentiment banner.

Butterfly card

Butterfly kisses stamp set has so many cute images and I choose the largest butterfly for my card.

I stamped the image on cold press watercolor paper in jet black ink and watercolored it. Then fussy cut it.

The wildflowers are stamped from the Heart stamp set on a watercolor paper pack from Aquarelle paper pack.  I dry embossed a panel using the ‘Rolling stones’ stencil.

Then die cut a banner from scrolled banners set and stamped the sentiment. Now adhered that stamped panel at the top of my card base. I added that watercolored butterfly along with wild floral shapes.

Now die cut some flowers from the floral wreath die set. Added Gold alcohol splash ink using a brush, shaped them and added tiny thermocol balls in the centre of the flowers. Added that die cut banner too.

Hoping you are inspired with my projects and join this month’s challenge soon. Would love to see your work!

Happy crafting!
