Floral Decoupage Tissue Box

Hello crafters, Neha here and today’s blog is about creating a floral themed Tissue Box.

For this project I have used a whitewashed tissue box. I started by cutting the decoupage paper with a floral design and cut it according to the size of the tissue box. I cut 4 pieces.

After that, I applied the paper over one of the sides of the base using Deco Magic glue. After drying, I applied another layer of Deco Magic glue over the print in order to seal it further and left it to dry.

Similarly, I applied the paper on the remaining other sides with the help of Little Birdie Deco Magic glue. After that I painted the lid of the box by mixing two shades of chalk paints – Rose Blush & Sangria and then left it to dry.

After that, using a sponge dauber I highlighted the edges of the box using same shade of chalk paint as I used for the lid and then left it to dry.

Lastly I applied a layer of Little Birdie Decor Varnish– Matte all over the the base and then I left it to dry for 10-15 minutes.

Done!
