Hello creatives , DT member Srigowri Rajesh here on the blog today to show you how we can create a sea theme home decor with mixed media techniques.
Step 1
Take a MDF base . Apply a coat of white gesso .Let it dry. Then apply Little Birdie mixed media paste in the 2 corners and give texture using palette knife. In the middle apply Little Birdie grainy texture paste.
Step 2
Stick the sea shells and embellishments with the help of Little Birdie soft gel medium.
Step 3
Apply a coat of Little Birdie white gesso and colour it with Little Birdie chalk paints – Snow, Sailing sky, Tuscan teal, Rainy Day shades.
Step 4
Now apply Little Birdie metallic wax antique gold and icy glaze to highlight the project and stick some Deep Marine – metallic beads.
Stick the word ‘Stay Salty’ in the middle.
