Magical Monogram

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to another blog by your crafty friend Virti Mehta. Today I would like to ask you a question – Do you like something that is made particularly for you?

Let me put it like this for you- won’t it be great if someday someone gives you a handmade gift particularly for you only? Either way, your answer is going to be a BIG YES!

So, today we are going to make a personalized monogram. Let us start right away.

Firstly, We need a paper mache monograms. You find a wide range of monogram initials, along with symbols at Itsy Bitsy. They even have paper mache boxes, the best part is, those are really sturdy and useful.

Next up, you need a few sheets. Here I am using Papers from Little Birdie Boho Dreams paper pack. This paper pack is truly dreamy as it has so many vibrant colours and designs. Also choose a few coordinating paints.  Just as shown in the image.

We need to paint the sides of the monogram with the pink and white mix.

Tear the sheets from the paper pack in small pieces as shown in the image above.

We need to randomly place the small pieces on the base alphabet and stick those pieces with the glue.

Now, we will paint the cracks and edges with the same paint, and voila! Your base is ready. Now we will decorate it with some embellishments and embossing paste.

Here, I have used some lovely flowers and some chipboard text, some Little Birdie Pearl Drops and emboss paste. I created the texture using a heat gun on the texture paste. Look how lovely it looks!

I have added a few more images for you guys to get a better look at the project.
