Hello Dear crafty friends, DT member Divya here with a new Deco Transfer inspiration.

Here is my creation with amazing Little Birdie Deco Transfer sheets . I also want to share with you that an amazing Sale is going on at  Itsy Bitsy  website and the stores. Do not forget to grab the opportunity and also shipping offers are going on so do visit the website and .  I have used my Little Birdie Deco Transfer, multi- surface paint, chalk paint, crackle paste, Décor varnish matte in this project on a jute bag . Let’s get started with the tutorial and look into the details.

Here is the Jute Bag with Deco Transfer sheet and some stenciling on it. Now let’s see how to start with.

We need all the above materials to make this plain jute bag look interesting. At the bottom of the post links for all the products used in this project is given for your convenience.

In the first step I have applied crackle paste on the Jute bag here and there with the help of a palette knife. This white base will enhance the beauty of the Deco transfer designs.

In the next step, I fussy cut the designs I wanted to use. Then I removed the plastic film and placed the sheet on the crackle paste area. With the help of wet sponge applied some water to it till the design becomes see through.

And the beautiful designs on the sheet gets transferred on the bag. I have done the same procedure on both the sides of the bag.

Then here with the help of stencil , stencil brush and multi-surface paint – ” Lime Tango” I have given this zigzag affect. And then I diluted some black – chalk paint by mixing lot of water and sprinkled it on the bag here and there.

Next, I used self-adhesive alphabets on it to added some quotes on both the sides.

And here I have used some designer laces on the handles to add extra beauty to it.

Then lastly I have used ‘Décor varnish –  matte’ on the transferred sheet areas to seal it.  And have used a cute foam butterfly cut with Little Birdie dies and the Dream Cut  machine. This is how the jute bag looks after it’s ready.

I have also made a video tutorial for the same for better understanding, do watch it and don’t forget to give a thumps up.
